I’ve been clocking a lot of ChatGPT credits lately – in my kitchen.

In the past month, I’ve used it to:

  • triple recipes (lotsa hosting!);
  • brainstorm meals when I'm wayyyy overdue for a shopping trip (no chicken, no eggs, no pasta);
  • recreate a recipe I've been craving for years (warm marinated mushrooms I had when I was eleven).

I'm starting to rely on it. But more as a line cook than a master chef.

Cuz it’ll tell me to double the baking powder. Or to use chocolate chips when every 101 Food Science graduate knows that bars melt better.

And it hit me: this is exactly how all those “AWOL clients” are treating email:

Other ideas from this episode that you don’t want to miss:

(0:53) The unintentionally internationality of this season — and why cultural context matters

(2:04) How more guests this season work with teams — and how solo marketers can build a “non-team team”

(2:33) Why AI, templates, or best practices aren’t enough — and what really moves the needle in winning email strategy

(4:08) Give feedback, get pie (i.e. the slightly shameless bribe to fill out the end-of-season survey)

P.S. Want my best AI pie recipe? It’s rich, perfectly chocolate-y – and got rave reviews.

All you gotta do is fill out this end of season survey and it’s yours!

I have a love-hate relationship with goal setting.On the one hand, there’s the fire and fun of getting everything lined up, of focusing, of creating, of going all in. And on the other hand… there’s all those cancelled gym memberships come Feb 1. So this year, I’m playing with a couple of new ways to plan 2026. 4 ways so far and looking for more. Can you let me know which one of those 4 resonates? Or other methods you’ve seen success with? You can hit reply or just respond in the LI comments....
